A better India awaits- Vande Mataram

It was black and white world. There lived a mother and she was rich, abundantly rich!!!!!. She had a family, a huge family. She was truly blessed and she had everything except the unity and integrity in the family. People in her family were spread all over her land. They had formed unions and fought within regularly. There was short of a leader who could get them all in one place and would guide them to prosperity and peace.  But still the family lived a royal and a king’s life with its rich gifts given from god. She was in rest and there came the men from hell in the name of business to the mother land.

They stayed here, they learnt to do the business from her family and eventually they studied everything from good to bad. The divided the family in the name of power and greed. Slowly the world of good changed in to the world of blood. Evil powers gained the power and the mother sulked. Men were hit and the women were teased. People died and blood flowed. Evil powers were at the helm and the children of the mother were tortured. Monsters looted her family and all her assets. It was one big family and the she was alone. She was brave but there was fear within the family. It continued and continued for years.
Yes, as it happened there were also brave sons and daughters. They were ready to hit back, they were ready to fight and they stood by their mother. One of the bravest sons of the mother was Mangal Pandey who dared and planned. He stood and armed with a loaded musket, calling upon the men to rebel and threatening to shoot the first European that he set eyes on. He took upon the European Lieutenant Baugh (English man) the first European he saw. He could see Baugh who came to arrest Pandey by knowing that Pandey was on rise as he advanced towards him, Pandey fired but missed. Baugh fired and missed but advanced towards Pandey. Before Baugh took out his sword Mangal Pandey drew his Talwar blocked Baugh and knocked him on the ground. Another English man sergeant-Major Hewson arrived at the spot but knocked down to the floor by Pandey again. A senior officer to sipoy Pandey, the Jemadar Ishwari Prasad the Indian officer in command of the quarter-guard of the 34th Bengal Native Infantry (BNI) had the orders to arrest Mangal Pandey before this incident happened but many sepoys including the Indian senior stood by Pandey supporting him. But this one bad man from the sepoys, Sheikh Paltu stood by British officers by resisting Mangal Pandey thus helping the two English men recover and hold Pandey. While other sepoys refused to support English men and stood inactive, Paltu helped to capture Mangal Pandey. Later Pandey was hanged and Paltu was promoted to Hawaldar. The brave son had sacrificed his life to safeguard her mother.

Slowly revolt begins and many join on this bravest struggle for independence. Mother started gaining her strength back with some of her bravest sons born as the years passed. Out of all, few stood tall and lakhs stood by them. One man asked for the “peace” and other “the blood”. As the tallest man marched with peace, these bravest men planned and executed with anger. The tallest man had the grip of non-violence and bravest men had the hunger of freedom. Many sacrificed and many were killed. Soon the evils realized and fled but the mother was left injured.

It has been 67 years and the injuries have grown with the diseases like corruption, unemployment, illiteracy and many such. But this time India has signaled and risen to the challenge to stand up to fight these diseases. Let’s wish, we see that dream India for which many brave hearts sacrificed their lives and their unfulfilled dreams are realized. Let’s uphold their spirit of dream India by exhibiting our love for this great nation. Let’s work towards betterment of this great nation with unconditional love we have buried within ourselves. On this great day of 68th Independence Day celebrations, I congratulate the people of India and wish my mother India recovers soon.

                                                Jai Hind !
