It was cloudy and was about to rain so I left the
office early so that I can ride back to home without getting drenched.
Winds blew heavily and I almost fought a war in the Eco space traffic to
reach my home. I knocked the door and no response came from inside. I realized
that there was no one in the house and I opened the door using the spare key I
had. As I came and sat inside, loneliness haunted me, so I thought of listening
to some music from my phone. As I kept my earphones into my ears, a song played
in my ears reverberating into my head continuously. It said "Devara aata
ballavaraaru, aatana idiru nilluvaraaru" ( Who knows the God's game?? , is
there anyone who dares him). As I listened to it, thoughts started to flow and
I remembered some of the experiences that I have felt are helping me. Life
teaches you every minute if you have the heart to learn and you cannot complain
that you didn't have anyone to guide you when you failed. Life itself is a best
teacher if you can learn from the odds of it rather than complaining about
them. So out of many things, I would like to share five of them here.
1. There are always people around you to pull you down and you are the winner.
I will quote an experience which makes me think why you are a winner. For last three years I must say I really have lived my life wonderfully for a choice I made years back but it has always looked that I am struggling for the outsiders. And I must say there is never a moment I have felt that I have made a wrong choice. While I lived happily, there were times that some of the people I felt close enough understood and never worried for me but there were few that always underplayed me for they thought I made a wrong choice. Life has changed now and things have improved drastically. For me when I say life has changed drastically, I always keep a standard parameter i.e "QUALITY OF LIFE" but for some of them its "MONEY" and for me its family, my passion, friends, and of coarse money. And I have come out of all the mess now(as per the society) and living the life that I wanted to. Winners never get discouraged and losers never encourage others. Every time someone tries to pull me down, I try to put myself grounded and I try to thrive better.Today I sit back and remember every small thing that made me happier than to complain about it.It's always a win - win situation, when someone is trying to underplay you ensures that there's some one who is always worried about your life!!. So lesson is, ignore them and live like a winner. "Instead of wishing your life was perfect why not celebrate the fact your life is interesting?" says leadership guru Robin Sharma.
2. Silence is the best weapon to end an argument!
Very rare arguments end up with any of the arguer losing it.
Everybody want to prove they are right when you are in an argument and hence
they heck and pick the points (valid or invalid) to prove you are wrong. When
the heat rises you also does the same, heck and picking the points(valid and
invalid) to defend that you are right. So instead of all the mud slinging and
proving your point to some one who is not ready to discuss but keeps on
arguing, silence is the best weapon. I quote one of my senior's words here "In a battle of meaningless conversations silence is the winner".You can read my article to know my
experience of one such argument in a train which ended quiet well not hurting
anyone. Here is the link…. http://aradhya-lifeleisure.blogspot.in/2015/06/a-cup-of-tea-and-bowl-of-words-day-in.html
3. Listen to everyone and accept the best!!
“It takes a great man to be a good listener” says ex-president of
United States Mr. Calvin Coolidge. I
have this feeling that it’s very difficult to make a good listener than a
good orator. A year back I have had horrible experiences of arguing with people
unnecessarily. Yes I said before as well, Life is the best
teacher and I have learnt from the mistakes. I am slowly making it a habit of
listening more than shouting my opinions on others. There are two advantages
here. You give respect to the other person which does not hurt him during an argument and the second
is you get to know more about the person. At the end of the day it's their opinion, if you find it the best, you can accept it or forget about it.
4. People change and their priorities too!!, live with it.
Yes that is life! you might want some people to remain the same but that creates the bigger imbalance than we can imagine if they don't change. We must agree and live with the fact that everybody has their own priorities to deal with and their life to lead with. But its time to remember that you too have one. Nobody waits for you and you don't need to catch them as well but accept the truth and make a life out of your abilities.
5. Are you kidding me?? I am not preaching you !!
One thing is I don't like to preach anyone and the next thing is I like to share my experiences in order to make everyone understand that problems are common to everyone. So guys just relax, breathe, go out. have fun, enjoy, live life, unplug, be positive and if at all, you are doing all this you are living your life to the best and ignore this article.
Above are the words from my experiences I had and I am too young to conclude that I am right in whatever I have learnt but If you think they are going to help you I will be the happiest man in the world. With love I conclude this article and before that If you think its gonna help you, help me to help others by sharing this post from face book blog Life And Leisure- https://www.facebook.com/LifeAndLeisureBlog .
